I simply adore A Faded Romantic’s Notebook…
He is not attracted by the overt.
He is not stirred by the brazen, the unambiguous, the conspicuous.
He is not aroused by the gaudy, the showy, the flagrant, the flaunted.
He does not want what is available to all.
For him there is only currency in exclusivity, value in rarity, desire in the uncommon, the private, the unique.
She thrills him because he knew from the moment he saw her
That he wanted her to be his
Without any or all of the obvious signs.
