Growing Up Little

A woman exploring the world of BDSM and sharing what she discovers…

Friday is Boob Day!

It’s Friday… you know what THAT means?

BOOB DAY!

In Honour of Boob Day... does anyone want to lick the rest of the icing off?

In Honour of Boob Day… does anyone want to lick the rest of the icing off?

What is Boobday you ask?  Well, in the words of A Dissolute Life Means…

Boobday is a place for us to honor breasts of all shapes and sizes belonging to all types of folks. Transgender, queer, straight, bi, fit, fat, and in between.

All of us who are the owners of breasts know their magical powers, but not everyone gets to hear it. I hope this will become a place of support and praise. I hear all the time from The Neighbor how much he loves my breasts; I see it in his eyes and feel his cock get hard the instant my flesh hits his lips or touches his fingertips. I want every woman to feel special in that way. Just for being a woman.

If you want to participate in Boobday, which is held EVERY Friday head on over to A Dissolute Life Means… and learn how you can become involved AND see everyone else who participated too!

Oh – and there is a different picture of me, posted over on her blog post…

I’ll add it in here too:

Ode to Fat Bodies

Ode to Fat Bodies

Images/writing below from:  The Nearsighted Owl  (check her blog out… she’s fatastic!)

fat pride 2

To the riot grrrls, divas, fierce fatties, chubby bunnies and fatshionistas

Performers, activists, artists, writers, radical babes and fat bitches
With rolls in different places and all over
Generous thighs, double-chins
And bellies that don’t make apologizes
We have dimples for miles
Cellulite is our badge of fat girl power
Member card for the pudding club

We fight, scream, pose, paint, write and sing
Strut, fuck, dance and create

To the riot grrrls, divas, fierce fatties, chubby bunnies and fatshionistas
Performers, activists, artists, writers, radical babes and fat bitches
We are the fat movement

There is Not a Thin Person Trapped Inside Me Either…

There is NOT a Thin Person Trapped Inside Me Either

The article and picture below is from:  The Nearsighted Owl

I love her blog, especially her posts about fat acceptance.  Her attitude is remarkable…

Nearsighted Owl

Picture from the Nearsighted Owl blog.

I am not a skinny girl trapped in a fat body. My body is not “extra weight” or over my allotted allowance of size that I was meant to be. I am fat and probably always will be fat.

I have given up on the fantasy. The fantasy of having a different body. The fantasy of being thin. I used to have this reoccurring daydream that I was granted any wish I wanted, and my first one was to be thin and have long hair. Or anytime I saw a flat stomach, I would spend days thinking what it would be like if that was my body.

Now I can draw my own form without looking and don’t project other people’s bodies on my own. I feel like I am finally a tidy package, instead of this tall, fat, awkward disjointed person that I used to be. It took years for me to stop seeing myself as a potential thin person. To stop sucking it in and squinting at the mirror to see what I thought I wanted to see. Now I look at myself naked and I feel like a whole person. I feel like every inch of my body belongs to me and this is what I am supposed to fucking look like.
                                                                                                                                                        – Rachele
I can really identify with what she has written.
Thank you Rachele for blogging about fat acceptance!

The Underpants Rule

The Underpants Rule

Found this on Dances With Fat.

The Underpants Rule is simple: everyone is the boss of their own underpants so you get to choose for you and other people get to choose from them and it’s not your job to tell other people what to do. To illustrate, if you’re considering saying something that starts with

  • People should
  • Everyone ought to
  • What people need to do
  • We should all
  • Nobody should
  • You shouldn’t
  • blah blah things that have to do with underpants that aren’t yours blah blah

then there is a 99.9% chance that you are about to break The Underpants Rule.

I try very hard to make sure that I always follow the Underpants Rule and never tell anyone else how they have to live and yet people come here and try to tell me how to live.  That’s annoying.

My metaphorical underpants and my actual underpants have something in common:  if I want somebody else in them, that person will be among the very first to know.

Now, I’m not telling you what to do (cause, you know, Underpants Rule) but I’m suggesting that if you don’t like it when people attempt to be the boss of your underpants, then trying to be the boss of someone else’s is pretty hypocritical .
